Holy One, at the first light of dawn
on the first day of the week
we gather to greet the risen Lord:
firstborn of the dead.
Keep us faithful as your people,
the first fruit of your Holy Spirit,
until you gather us at last
in your realm of endless light;
through Jesus Christ, Alpha and Omega.
